Renovation vs. Remodel
For 30 years, DJ's Home Improvements has offered a full service solution to kitchen renovating and remodeling - from design conception to the finished product. We offer FREE professional design guidance throughout the planning and executing of your remodel. Whether your thinking of just changing your countertops (renovating) to completely re-arranging and gutting everything (remodeling), DJ's has the experience and and is ready to help!
Our renovation process, attempts to remove all the stress associated with remodeling your home. We guide you through decisions and execute your project as quickly as possible.
Here is a list of steps DJ's takes toward completing a project:

PHONE MEETING
Conducted by our in house team of remodeling experts. On the call, we will discuss project scope, budget and time frame.

FREE IN HOME CONSULTATION
A professional team member of DJ's Home Improvements, will meet you in your home to discuss your overall plans, likes, dislikes and budget. They will also document preliminary room dimensions, and further discuss any options our professional foresees.​

PROPOSAL
We return with a proposal of the total costs for building materials and labor.
​
APPROVAL
Upon your approval, DJ's will begin preparing necessary plans, permits and material orders through our pre-
qualified suppliers.

MATERIALS
We finalize finish material selections, I.e. fixtures, faucets, cabinetry, tile, etc. During this process, at no additional cost, you will be guided by our staff designer, Vita, to ensure aesthetic continuity with your vision and overall product compatibility. We also provide a full compliment of digital designs for either decision making or local municipal approval. In addition, we will review product specifications to ensure they can be installed with respect to new design, construction/installation requirements, new plumbing, new wiring, applicable codes, and specific regulations. We schedule an approximate start date after all finished materials have been ordered and product delivery dates are established.

During the construction phase we receive and check-in all orders, and arrange for product corrections in case of faulty or erroneous errors.

advance, you can now relax, the project will remain on budget and on time. Any concerns that arise during construction will be addressed promptly by our skilled project management team. Remember, our main goal is to
